After 7 years in charge of our club, our amazing president Rodger Taylor is stepping down.

Rodger has been instrumental in building this club, he has achieved so much in the 7 years he has been at the helm. The club has grown from a small, two senior men's teams in the lower divisions to the MPL squad and 6 junior teams we have today. He oversaw us move to our classic red and white kits we have today and brought in sponsors from all over to help build our club. He is one of the main reasons senior and junior players come to play at our club. The passion this man has for the club is unparalleled.

The amount of work Rodger has undertaken to keep this club up and running and continually growing cant be put into words. We are truly grateful to this awesome man for all the hours, days weeks, months and years he has poured into making this club successful.

Thankfully he will still be involved , while he will no longer run the club he will be involved in our junior program running the U12 team and overseeing our junior programs in conjunction with our junior coaches.

A few years ago two of our players Ryan Shalevski & Corey Shalevski decided to start their own business and go it alone in the landscaping world. A few short years later and these two legends have made it big founding @rycorlandscapes, not only did they save the day on the Block last year jumping in with 3 days notice, they are back at it again this year working on house 1.

We hope everyone tunes in tonight at 7pm to see their hard work and talent. We are so proud of these guys and everything they have achieved so far!!! Keep up the amazing work lads!!🦅🦅🤩🤩💪💪👷‍♂️👷‍♂️🦺

ABOUT THE EAGLES

Lilydale Eagles Soccer Club is a soccer club based in Lilydale, Victoria, Australia. The club was founded in 1978 and currently has over 100 members, including men, and children.

Lilydale Eagles competes in the Victorian Country Football Association (VCFA) and has won numerous premierships at both senior and junior levels.
